Venice R. Williams: Executive Director

Venice Williams is the Executive Director of Alice’s Garden and its visionary leader.  She calls herself a cultural and spiritual midwife, strongly believing she was put in Creation to help bring forth all that is good and whole in people and places.  She has been doing just that in Milwaukee for the past thirty-two years.  She may be reached at venicewb@gmail.com.

Glenna Holstein: Family & Environmental Program Coordinator

During this autumn 2023 season, we welcomed Glenna Holstein to our team as our Family & Environmental Program Coordinator. How excited we are!

Glenna works at the intersection of community and nature, putting her energy toward efforts in Milwaukee that will nurture connections between people and place, help us live more lightly on the earth, and build the kind of world that she wants her daughter, Ella, to grow up in.

Glenna has over 15 years of experience in environmental education, and is delighted to have been with the Table since "the beginning" -- the very first official gathering in December 2014. From that first day, she connected deeply with the idea of a spiritual community that went beyond the conventions of "church" and is honored to continue to be part of The Table's journey. This position is supported through a grant from the Greater Milwaukee Foundation.
